France and Schengen visa assistance

My Prime Travel provides France and Schengen visa assistance for travelers preparing short visits for tourism, family visits, business travel and other permitted short-stay purposes.

We help you understand the official process, organize the travel side of your application and prepare a clear itinerary. Only the competent French or Schengen authority can decide whether a visa is issued.

France and Schengen Short-Stay Visa Rules

France-Visas states that a short-stay visa is commonly used for tourism, business trips, family visits, conferences and other qualifying short visits. A uniform Schengen short-stay visa generally allows stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to the dates and conditions printed on the visa.

France should normally process the application when France is your sole destination, your main destination by duration or purpose, or in certain cases your first Schengen entry when no main destination can be identified.

Check the official France-Visas short-stay guidance before applying.

Applying for a France Visa from Texas

For applicants legally residing in the United States who need a visa for France, France-Visas states that applications are examined by the French Consulate in Washington, D.C., while submission appointments are handled through authorized application centres. France-Visas currently lists a Houston centre at 3120 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77098. The official U.S. guidance recommends planning short-stay applications at least 15 days before departure and notes that applications generally cannot be submitted more than 6 months before travel. U.S. passport holders do not normally need a short-stay visa for visits to France of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, but requirements depend on nationality and travel purpose. Check the official France-Visas U.S. guidance before applying.
